Clarity PPM | Five Reasons to Attend regoUniversity 2017

A few months ago I wrote about this year's venue for RegoUniversity and how spectacular it is. This year, RegoUniversity will be held April 23-27 at the La Cantera Resort and Spa in San Antonio Texas. It is an amazing facility with spacious meeting rooms, lots of outdoor lawns, fire pits, and three swimming pools.

By April most of you will be longing for some warm weather and the dog days of summer. That along with the venue is reason enough to attend RegoUniversity 2017. But I'm sure you'll need more than that to justify several days out of the office. So here are five reasons to attend RegoUniversity 2017. . . . and these are not my reasons; they are the top reasons given by RegoUniversity attendees.

1. It's all about learning Clarity PPM (CA PPM).

"Every year, RegoUniversity continues to deliver. It always feels like I'm trying to drink from a fire hose while I'm there. I'm sure I'll be processing the information for weeks and months to come."

RegoUniversity was designed to be a learning event. There are no sales pitches. Each class is led by a Rego expert guide. They will help you discover solutions to everyday issues and provide you with the knowledge to successfully troubleshoot on your own.

2. It is one of the best places to network with your peers.

"I loved the Birds of a Feather lunch event and how we were able to gather by industry. I was able to meet people in the same industry as me, dealing with the same types of challenges. We were able to network and exchange contact information. And I'm sure I'll be contacting them!"

Last year over 100 companies were represented at RegoUniversity from technology, health care, automotive, tourism, entertainment, retail, and much more. During RegoUniversity you'll get the opportunity to meet and network with people by industry, geography, company size, and even favorite movie genres!

3. Classes just for you.

"I love that there are classes just for me. We had four people from our company attend this year, and regoUniversity had the right classes for each of us. Some of our team went to the beginner classes because they were new to Clarity PPM and others of us were able to soak in the advanced classes like Jaspersoft and Admin."

Regardless of your skill level or area of focus, you'll find the right content for you. RegoUniversity offers classes in technical beginner, technical advanced, governance/functional, basic use, functional training, and technical training.

4. It's an incredible value.

"I've attended all RegoUniversity events, and it's now become "The" event to attend if you do anything with Clarity PPM. The sessions are informative, relevant, and cover just about anything you'd need from technical through functional, to administration and governance. Plus it's all about Clarity PPMnothing else, and the price is amazing. 10/10"

Rego Consulting has always tried to keep the cost of RegoUniversity as low as possible. In fact, the price has stayed the same for five years now! The price for RegoUniversity includes the following:

  • Welcome Reception
  • Breakfast each day of the event
  • Lunch each day of the event
  • Dinner and Cocktail event on Monday
  • Three or four days of classes, depending upon the option you select

We also worked with La Cantera to keep room costs as affordable as possible.

5. It's unlike any other event you'll attend.

"I don’t really know how to classify RegoUniversity. It isn’t a conference, and it isn’t training. It’s somewhere in the middle, and it is the best event I’ve attended. There is nothing else like it. I think it was one of the best training/conferences I have attended."
"I was really pleasantly surprised in that I thought the event would be like other events of these sorts - a sort of 'techie zoo.' It was not! It was intimate, well organized, well run, not too large, effective, etc. I really enjoyed it. I learned a lot!"
